8th Annual APSFA Holiday Giving Tree - 2013

This tree holds a special meaning for the members of the APS Foundation of America, Inc and the community it serves. Since the Giving Tree has been such a big success in the past, we've made it an annual tradition and our main end of the year fundraiser.

This year, 50% of the Giving Tree donations are going to APS ACTION in memory of Silvia Pierangeli, PhD.

It is with a very sad heart that we write to share this news with you. Unfortunately, Dr Pierangeli passed away in September after battling pancreatic cancer for a very short time. The diagnosis was very sad for all of us here and her sudden death is even more shocking and devastating. She was an exceptional mentor and friend and she will be missed by all her family, friends and colleagues.
